AOD word grouping doesnt seem to work

This applies to 7.5.1 AOD feature.

According to the lucene search rules, I should be able to quote a string like “Hot dogs” and the search results should return all instances where the phrase Hot Dogs exist. This is not happening. It still returns results as if the quotes are not there, in other words wherever “hot” and “dogs” occurs.

Is this working correctly for this release? If so, it would be helpful to support more advanced query strings.

Hi,

Would you be able to try searching for:

%Hot Dogs%

Rather than

“Hot Dogs”

This should return results where the phrase Hot Dogs occurs

Gave it a try. It makes no difference whether I include the percent signs or not. Still acting like an OR operation.

For those who get to this thread with the same problem, until this problem is fixed you can simply do the following

hot and dogs

It’s a bit more verbose but it works.
