Allowing more users to receive email notification on updates on any record

Hello to everyone, I am serching a solution to allow more than one follow information updates on records.

Have you tried a Workflow? I’m not very good at helping with that, but I’m sure it won’t be too difficult and you can search for Worklfow examples online…

Thanks pgr, yes I tried but unfortunately all the workflow rules I created don’t work good. In my specific case doesn’t work the sending email option, and I don’t know why!

What version of SuiteCRM are you running?

Do you have a System Outbound Account? Can your system send emails in other situations?

yes : if a task (for example) is Assigned to someone, him will receive an email about the task.

I’m leaving for vacations so I can’t really help out here. Also, I don’t know much about Workflows.

Email is currently buggy so it is worth trying the upgrade to 7.9.4, and then 7.9.5 as soon as it comes out.

And then, post a screenshot of your workflow, maybe you can get people to help you out.

I’m assuming you know that your workflows are at least running, even though this one doesn’t work like you expect…

Also, check your logs for any messages at the time of the workflow.
