After updating from 7.9 to 7.10, problems in viewing the theme

I have updated from 7.9 to 7.10 with the internal function “Updated Wizard”
During the update, before the last step, I get “error timeout” from the server
Now, I can log in, everything seems to work, but without the proper formatting of the “suiteP” theme
How can I reapply the theme and return to the correct view?

Don’t assume you have a broken Theme, I’d say you have a broken SuiteCRM.

A timeout is a fatal error, and getting one during an upgrade can be deadly. So I would say the primary option now would be to return to the backup you made just before the upgrade attempt. You do have one, don’t you?

You can increase your max_execution_time in php.ini to make sure this doesn’t happen again.

If you really need to try and fix the current installation, you can try:

  • Admin / Repairs, try anything with Javascript on it, plus Quick Repair and Rebuild

  • check permissions on your installation

  • check default_permissions in config.php: some users are reporting solving similar problems by fixing these

Following your advice I tried some solutions.
After fixing the permissions on some directories (cash / Theme, in particular) the problem has disappeared.
