add campaign error

Hi,

I have a fresh install of 7.2.2 on shared hosting. when I went to add a campaign to a Lead I received the following error

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘if’ (T_IF), expecting function (T_FUNCTION) in /home4/ab67522/public_html/suitecrm/include/SugarFields/Fields/Image/SugarFieldImage.php on line 79

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Can’t replicate this. Do you have the image field in the leads module?

Hi Will,

Thanks for your reply. I found out the issue was related to my shared hosting and php.ini file which is well documented here and I thought I changed. I have seemingly fixed the issue are the steps I took. Keep in mind this is shared hosting (hostgator)

  1. set the php handler to php 5.4
  2. set a php.ini file in the root directory (default) with display error off
  3. installed version 7.17

Everything so far is working like a charm. I’m looking to possibly do an upgrade to the latest version here soon.
