7.9.2 Email Template: Variable's work in body but not in Subject

I installed the hotfix for the email template variable template merge issue and it’s fixed it for the body content.

However, when creating email templates, you used to be able to put a variable into the subject and that would grab the data from the record and insert it into the subject field.

Now the variable ($lead_refered_by) shows up in the subject field in the editor but when sent , the receiver sees the variable token in the subject field and not content from the record field.

It is properly merged within the body of the email though,

Hi

The 7.9.3 update has fixed all my email issues.

I had to go into the templates and futz with them a tad but other than that, it’s all working now like it should.
