7.1 Install Issue

Hello everyone,

While I was installing the 7.1 github release I ran into an issue where it sat at the configuring window for an hour, and didn’t seem to do anything. When I tried to just browse to the site, all I see is a white page. Ideas?

What is your Server/PHP/MySQL setup? Have you set the recommended permissions for installation?

Hello Will,

My apologies on the delayed reply. I have since rolled back to an old stable snapshot of the server, but I had set the permissions like the installer had talked about. I may try again today and document what I see better.

Alright, so I re-downloaded it onto the system and tried running it and ran into the same issues. This time I have the install.log file and we can see that it hangs at the ‘dropping table leads’ step and doesn’t seem to go past it. Are there any other files that would be helpful in troubleshooting this?
