7.1.4 > 7.2 Fails

The upgrade does not seem to complete after running the upgrade wizard.

Users + Groups were set appropriately in config.php and in include/util.php as there were some permissions issues when the scripts executed and created files in the cache directory.

After the upgrade it simply returned a blank page with the nav menu at the top. A check and repair was run and the about page reports that it is running 7.2 however the theme is inaccessible even when selected as default and the others are disabled. I cant seem to see any of the new features on projects etc also.

The web server logs are pasted below and it fails on a JS file which is there at the beginning of the process but seems to get removed as part of the upgrade.

This should have been resolved in the latest upgrade package available on the downloads page.

Will,

Downloaded upgrade zip file fresh and failed again. This time blank page after the ‘next’ from preflight checks and no further options to merge views etc as before.

Same missing files reported in the web server logs but thats it.

I tried a check and repair and it appeared to work. Returning back to to the upgrade wizard resulted in a blank page and looks like menu items/CSS missing.

Would it be worth installing a fresh version of 7.2 as another virtual host on the machine and importing the database? I would need some instruction on that but up for giving it a go. Presume however that the table changes would need to be made by other means.
