7.1.1: how to have search search inside emails?

Hi,

We use our suitecrm mostly for our customer support by email.

How does one configure the new search in 7.1.1 to search inside the emails too
in addition to the cases description?

Also is there a way to control which fields are searched in each module?

Hi Gilles,

Email records should be indexed/searchable. It may be that the index has not completed 100%. There are not currently field level triggers for AOD but you can enable/disable the modules in Admin.

How can I check that the index is completed to 100%?

How long does it take? I’ve upgraded on Sunday, and we’re Thursday, shouldn’t the indexing be done by now?

I’ve just checked: searching for a word which is mentioned in a secondary email does NOT give any results in AOD search…

How do I search inside my emails with the standard search box?

You can see how AOD is running and how many records have been indexed by adding the following to your base CRM url:

index.php?module=AOD_Index
