Hi, I am very new here so please bare with me. I uploaded all the files for Suite CRM Max to my server (hosting with Hostgator). When I go to the browser and type in the url/install.php I get a 500 error instead of the install wizard. Am I doing something wrong or missing something? Thanks for the help in advance!

This is highly likely to be a permissions issue. Some hosts have set rules on what permissions can be set i.e. if they are too liberal(unsecure) they will show a 500 error.
There are some posts on hostgator on the forum here, so you may wish to search to see if they help.
If not, I’d contact your team to find out what permissions are best to set.
